Who we work with
Golau Baptist Church works alongside various organisations and charities to deliver our provisions to the community.

Baptist Union of Great Britain
We are members of the Baptist Union of Great Britain (BUGB). BUGB provide us with national guidelines and church policies.

South Wales Baptist Association
South Wales Baptist Assoication (SWBA) is the regional branch of BUGB. Along with practical advice and guidance, the SWBA financially assist Golau Baptist Church through Home Mission funding.

Renew Wellbeing
Renew Wellbeing is a Baptist charity initative which helps churches open spaces of welcome and inclusion in partnership with mental health teams to improve mental and emotional wellbeing.

Baptist Insurance
The Baptist Insurance company provide insurance services to the Baptist community, reinvesting any financial surplus for Baptist community growth. Golau Baptist Church are insured with the Baptist Insurance company.
In April 2025, the Baptist Inusrance company have financially supported Golau Baptist Church through grant funding. The grant funding will assist us in delivering various outreach activities for a minimum of 12 months.

Llanelli Railway Goods Shed
The Llanelli Railway Goods Shed Trust is a volunteer-group whose vision is to transform the shed into a hub for cultural, heritage, community and enterprise activities. The Goods Shed is a Grade II listed building, and once played a crucial role in the development of Llanelli as a major industrial centre.
We are delighted to work alongside Llanelli Railway Goods Shed, who provide the venue for our Renew Wellbeing space and holiday clubs.

World Horizons
World Horizons is a multi-national mission movement with more than 400 members around the world, working in over 30 countries.
We are delighted to work alongside World Horizons, most notably at their centre in Llanelli. We use both their Y Doc and Creative Space facilities to host our Sunday Gatherings, Indoor Youth Club, Just Older Youth, community events, and much more.

Pantygwydyr Baptist Church
World Pantygwydr Baptist Church is our sister church, based in the Uplands in Swansea. A diverse church serving the Uplands and Brynmill area of Swansea, as well as Swansea Universitys Singleton campus.
Lisa spent two years doing a placement at Pantygwydr during her ministerial training.

National Lottery
In May 2025, Golau Baptist Church were successful in funding from the National Lottery Communtiy Fund to financially support our Youth Club.
