The minister of our church is the Reverend Lisa Isaac.

Here a few words from her:

My name is Lisa Isaac. I’m married, we have two cats and I have lived in Llanelli all my life.

I was a primary teacher for 8 years (KS2). I then felt called by God to leave teaching and go into ministry. I studied at Cardiff Baptist College for five years to become a Baptist minister. I graduated from the college in July 2024 and am a newly qualified minister, and was ordained by the South Wales Baptist Association in November 2024.

While doing my studies I undertook some mission work within Llanelli, by starting different church groups within the community for various ages. This work showed me there is a need within the community for a different kind of church, and has inspired me to plant Golau Baptist Church, a church for the community, within the community. I am excited to see what God has in store for our church and the community.

I have a wide range of hobbies and interests including sport (playing and watching it), running, art and drama.
